Open to anyone who meets the eligibility requirements of the CMP. Competitor must be a resident of Michigan and a member of MRPA to be declared State Service Pistol Champion. MRPA requires that adult non-members be charged a $10 day-entry fee for the event and that the sponsors remit these fees to the MRPA. Service Pistol Championship limited to 26 competitors.
Range address: 2116 W. Lincoln Ave. Ionia,48846. Paved and covered firing points. Electronically controlled sustained-fire targets. Restrooms in clubhouse.
Registration starts at 0900. Service Pistol Championship starts at 1000. The 22 Rimfire EIC match will follow a short lunch break. Scheduling of remaining matches at the discretion of match officials.

There will be two categories, Civilian and Service. With fewer than five competitors in a category, the categories will be combined within the same class. Each match will have a Match Winner. In each class/category with 5-10 competitors there will be a first place winner. With 11-20 competitors a second-place winner. A competitor is eligible for one award per match. With fewer than five Master or High Master competitors, only match winner will be paid.
Awards:
All awards will be cash. The winner in Match Five who is a Michigan resident and a member of MRPA and competed according to CMP Rule 5.2.6 will be declared MRPA Service Pistol Champion and receive the Michigan Service Pistol Trophy. CMP EIC credits awarded by CMP per applicable rules.

Eye and ear protection and ECI use required. Jury system will be used. The challenge fee is $2.
Qualified competitors that need to use both hands, and/or need to be seated with elbows on the bench, may fire the Championship Course of Fire in a Non-Competition category to range capacity. Chief Range Officer approval required. Championship competitors have priority.
Non-Competition category scores will not be reported beyond our Match Results bulletin, nor are they eligible for Championship awards. Any awards will be at the discretion of the match sponsor. All range safety rules apply.
