2024 Michigan Service Pistol Championship

Also, CMP Service Pistol EIC, CMP 22 Rimfire Pistol EIC, NRA Distinguished Revolver and CMP Service Revolver EIC.  CMP Service Revolver EIC is a 40-shot match.

Open to anyone who meets the eligibility requirements of the CMP and NRA. Competitor must be a resident of Michigan and a member of MRPA to be declared State Service Pistol Champion. MRPA requires that adult non-members be charged a $5 day-entry fee for the event and that the sponsors remit said fees to the MRPA. Service Pistol Championship limited to 30 competitors.

Range address: 2116 W. Lincoln Ave. Ionia,48846. Paved and covered firing points. Electronically controlled sustained-fire targets. Restrooms in clubhouse.

Registration starts at 0900. S. P. Championship starts at 1000. The 22 rimfire EIC match will follow a short lunch break. Scheduling of remaining matches at the discretion of match officials.

Categories/Classes/Awards:                                                                                   

There will be two categories, Civilian and Service. With fewer than five competitors in a category, the categories will be combined within the same class. Each match will have a Match Winner. In each class/category with 5-10 competitors there will be  a first place winner. With 11-20 competitors a second-place winner. A competitor is eligible for one award per match. With fewer than five Master or High Master competitors, only match winner will be paid.

Awards:

Awards will be cash. The winner in Match Five who is a Michigan resident and a member of MRPA and competed according to CMP Rule 5.2.6 will be declared Michigan Service Pistol Champion. CMP EIC and NRA Revolver, credit per applicable rules. The NRA has provided medals for Distinguished Revolver winners.

CMP Service Pistol EIC, CMP 22 Rimfire Pistol EIC, NRA Distinguished revolver, 30 shots each, CMP Rule 5.2.2.

CMP Service revolver EIC, 40 shots, CMP Rule 5.2.1

Eye and ear protection and ECI use required. Jury system will be used. Challenge fee is $2.
